Imogen takes Gold in Karate Championships!

Last month Imogen, Year 9, competed in Birmingham in the Commonwealth Club Karate Championships and bagged a Gold medal for her achievements!

Imogen said: “It was very nerve-racking whilst I was waiting to compete at the event, but my friends and supporters helped me stay focused for when my category was called - then it was time for my real game face! I’m so proud of what I have achieved and after all the hard work and commitment, it is paying off!”

Imogen is competing at the Irish Open this weekend in Dublin. We want to wish her the best of luck and can’t wait to hear how she gets on!
