Finn and Cerys Compete in Madeira

Cerys and Finn flew out to Madeira over the weekend to compete in an international Biathle as part of Team GB!

This is a phenomenal achievement for them both, especially as Finn has just finished his GCSE’s and Cerys has lots of commitments to extra curricular activities at school.

After qualifying for Team GB in April, Cerys came 3rd place in Madeira.

She competed in an 800m run, 100m swim and 800m run, and her Teammate came 1st, so excellent placings for them both!

Cerys enjoyed staying in Madeira, she went to Aqualand for some fun outside her competitions and enjoyed the sun. Well done Cerys!

Finn did well too, he came 6th in the under 19 category.

He did a continuous run-swim-run; 1600m run, 200m sea swim and a 1600m run to finish.
