We are happy to share with you a fantastic achievement for Ashton and his team on Saturday. La Boca U12’s Futsal team won the Birmingham league, and regionals to compete in the Futsal National Finals.

La Boca have posted the following;

“An unbelievable performance from our U12s to be crowned national champions.

The semi final saw us pitted against a very good Cambridge Futsal team, we started quickly and they struggled to contain our excellent attacking play. Always in front we ended comfortable 6-2 winners.

Onto the final against a very strong Spennymoor Town. We went 1-0 down in the 1st minute and took a few minutes to find our feet. It was clear that physically the opposition were very strong as well as displaying good technical quality. For the final 10 minutes of the 1st half we were outstanding and took a 3-1 lead into the break after a couple of brilliant individual goals. Spennymoor as expected came out hard in the 2nd half but the boys stood firm and defensively we were excellent supported by our GK making a few superb saves, we were always dangerous on the counter and missed a few golden chances to extend our advantage. The final whistle sounded and the boys went wild 🕺
