Year 7s Become Shakespeare Experts!

A group of Year 7s went to Stratford upon Avon yesterday to become experts on Shakespeare! Here they are looking around the museum of artefacts … next stop, Shakespeare’s birthplace and childhood home!

It was so interesting to hear from the guides about his family trade and how he shared his room with lots of siblings! Then there was the gift shop! Year 7 enjoyed buying keyrings, notepads and wooden swords!

Students also listened to a talk and took part in a quiz on Shakespeare’s life and works. Staff were very impressed with their general knowledge of some of Shakespeare’s other plays! Lunch was held by the sunny riverside and everyone enjoyed ice cream and bubbles. Thank you very much to the staff who organised the trip, it was a wonderful day.
