Sam P's Global Jamboree fundraiser

‘I am happy to have been selected for the world scout jamboree in 2023. I will be joining over 40,000 other scouts from across the globe. It will truly be an enriching experience for me and I can share my incredible experiences with other people. It will also help me develop my cultural understanding of other cultures worldwide. So far I know I will be spending 2 days in Seoul which will be a great experience and I can bring back souvenirs and experience from that.’

Sam has successfully been selected to go on the World Scout Jamboree to South Korea next August as part of the West Midlands Scouts unit. He is the only scout in Stourbridge to be selected and the first within his group in over 40 years.

As part of the process, the Scouts are required to try and fundraise as much of the cost as possible so over the next few months he will be busy thinking of ideas and plans of lots of different activities. Sam has also set up a gofundme  https://gofund.me/9cf42202

He has a lot to do this year to try and raise as much money as possible towards his trip. So far he has been tasked with collecting empty ink cartridges which will be sent off to a company who will pay for them and recycle them.
