Redhill is having an Off-Screen day to help students come away from their screens and take part in some fun activities. More information is on our social media and on these provided posters.

Here are some extra ideas that aren’t on the poster on what you can do to complete each of your five Olympic Rings!

Active

  • Table Tennis

  • Daily Mile

  • Circuit

Kind

  • Litter pick the bubble

  • Write note/songs/ poems or draw pictures for adults/others they live with/family members.

  • Smile at 10 people


Practical

  • Write a 'bucket list' and how you'll achieve what you want to do

  • Learn something new from somebody else in your bubble - card game, talk to fellow pupils/staff and they could teach you something in a new language.

  • Origami

  • Who can fold the paper plane that flies the furthest?

  • Categories Game - go through the alphabet and fill 5 categories (colour, boy's name, subject, occupation, food) with that letter.

Creative

  • Sketch part of the site (within the bubble)

  • Paint/sketch/draw

  • Make a fruit salad

  • Make a microwave mug cake or similar

  • Share with the group what hobbies you enjoy outside of school (martial arts/gaming/drama)


Mindful

  • Colouring

  • Doodle

  • Squares game (draw dots to make a grid and take it in turns to make squares)

  • Yoga

  • Meditation or stillness exercise focusing on breath, a mantra or image for as long as it feels good.

  • List positive affirmations (I'm doing my best, I choose to be happy, I am worthy of good things)

  • Read
